I am a sex therapist, certified by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).
I am a supervisor to and mentor to other counselors and sex therapists.
But at least as importantly…
I am a mom. A daughter. A friend. A significant other. Lifelong dog person. Recent cat person. A student and a teacher. A reader and a writer. A fantastic baker. An…enthusiastic artist. An overly optimistic planner. An INFP, if you speak Myers-Briggs. A person who needs regular doses of music, sleep, woods, and both saltwater and big tall mountains.
But most importantly of all…
I am someone who loves my work. I really love it. I marvel sometimes at the gifts this work has provided me. I’ve been able to sit with really precious people and guide them through some hard times. I’ve learned a lot from them. I think I’ve loved it all.
